1. Login fails

Issue description:

  • An error message prompts when logging in: Invalid username or password.

Possible causes:

  • There are Chinese characters in Ptrack install path.
  • Your password has expired.
  • The username or password is incorrect.
  • The account is unauthorized.

Solutions:

  • Review ptrack install path and uninstall the software if there is any Chinese character in the path, then reinstall it. Avoid using Chinese characters in the install path.
  • Check whether you have recently received any email advising you to change your password, and if so, change your password and try logging in again.
  • Check the username and password, and enter correct the username and password.
  • Unauthorized accounts need to apply for permission first.
