9. Recover a deleted file
When a file is deleted from Ptrack, it is not immediately removed from the server. A deleted version will be added to this file instead. You can restore your file from your depot within a month after its deletion.
When trying to restore a file, you firstly need to expose the file that has been hidden because of your deletion. Go to the filter icon on the top right corner of the Depot page, and select Show Deleted Files.
The directory tree in the depot will show files with icon. These are the files that have been hidden due to being deteled.
Select the file that you wish to restore, and click History Log tab.
In History Log page, select the version prior to the deleted version number of the file. When finishing rollback, the file will be stored in the depot.
Similarly, if you need to roll back an entire folder that has been deleted, select the folder, select the version prior to the deleted version in History Log page, and click Rollback to launch the selection confirmation page.
Check the file that you wish to roll back, and click Submit.
If there are unchecked files in the previous step, you will need to revert these files after you finish submission. Release the files to finish rollback.
