1. Summary

ArtEase for Max is a resource checking plugin developed by ArtEase for Autodesk 3ds Max. This plugin enables validation checks and correction of Max resources, and synchronizes check results to the ArtEase platform for summarized access. The latest version is coded in Python3 (pymxs), but is backward compatible with Python2 (MaxPlus/pymxs) as well, and therefore theoretically supports 3ds Max 2016 through 3ds Max 2022 as the original environment.

2. How to Access

The plug-in can be downloaded from the Tool Store on the official ArtEase website. Generally, the Tool Store installation package will maintain a fairly stable version and the plug-in will check for updates automatically after it has been installed. Users are able to decide whether or not to update to the newest version depending on their needs.

The installation package obtained by downloading. Please open it in the English path, or else errors may appear.

The installation program will automatically scan the installation version of Max in Windows. Users can select the version required to install; different versions will not affect one another. The plug-in is usually installed at the directory below, please access it according to the real username and version. If you need to uninstall the plug-in, you can directly remove NeteasePlugin.

After installation, restart the Max main program. If a [NETEASE] button appears in the top menu bar, click on it. If you can open the plug-in interface, this shows the plug-in installation was successful.
