Updates
Normal Updates
When there is an update available, a message will pop up upon launch. If ArtLib is already opened, you can check for updates via Menu -> Help -> Update Check.
Click Update to update; Click Cancel to postpone.
If you postpone an update, you can start the update later via Menu -> Help -> Update Check.
After clicking Update, a window will pop up indicating the update is in progress.
Wait till download progress reaches 100%.
When the Install button lights up, click it to install. Note: If ArtLib is open during the installation, it will be automatically closed.
After it's done, click Experience Now to open the updated ArtLib, or you can click Later and open ArtLib manually whenever you wish.
Forced Updates
If important content is released, we will initiate a forced update. The update module will start to download and install the package automatically when you launch ArtLib. You must then wait for the update to finish.
Common Problems
The update is complete and I clicked Experience Now but the client did not open.
Solution: Find the ArtLib.exe file in the installation path and launch it manually.
You can search “ArtLib.exe” in your Resource Manager.
After clicking Install, a windows update.exe window will pop up but sometimes the prompt window is minimized.
Solution: When it's minimized, open it manually and click Yes to enter the next step.
